The purpose of the nature is first for campers to have fun interacting with nature. The program teaches campers to appreciate and respect the planet and environment. It also helps the campers to get a sense of the big picture of which they are a part. The campers experience nature through a variety of activities, which in the past have included seed planting, visits from naturalists, stream studies, and other activities.
