The Office Manager skills and expectations:
● Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and ability to muti-task.
● Flexible work availability. Position starts at 15-20 hours weekly, with more hours
required from time to time for a special event or mailing.
● Experience with a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets and
databases) and administrative duties, including scheduling meetings. Familiarity
with email tools, like GSuite, Gmail, GDrive, GDocs preferred.
● Assist the Executive Director in tasks such as event planning, presentations, and
fundraisers, etc.
● Prepare thank you letters, memos, forms, reports, and newsletters.
● Proficiency in MS Office including (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.)
● Manage/schedule social media posting and content.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Willingness to learn new programs and take on tasks as needed.
● Manage correspondence with donors, grantors and families we serve.
● Experience with graphic design programs, such as Canva or photoshop is ideal.
● Experience as an Office Manager or an Administrative Assistant preferred.

Summer 2023

Camp Attaway is an award winning three-week therapeutic summer day camp offered to children (ages 7-13) with emotional and behavioral disorders.

Camp Attaway’s mission is to nurture the mind, body, and spirit of children who are missing out on fun, friendship, success, and achievement because of difficulties managing their emotions and behaviors.

Activities include: swimming, sports, learning games, rock climbing, arts & crafts, nature and drama. A 2:1 ratio of campers to staff is maintained at all times.




Preferred Qualifications: Experience in management of behavior for children especially those with serious emotional or behavioral disorders. Experience in a special education or therapeutic setting. Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams. Experience in programming daily activities for children’s groups. Bachelor’s degree preferred or advanced courses in special education, child psychology, therapeutic recreation, or equivalent. Camp experience preferred. CPR, first aid and QBS training are provided.


Job Duties: Responsible for safety, fun and well being of children. Implementing daily camp programming. Behavioral data collection. Meet daily for planning with Program Director and Clinical Director. Communicate with parents of campers as needed before, during, and after camp session. Provide input to written summaries of children’s progress reports. Complete program evaluations.


Dates of employment:
Staff Training: June 26-June 30;
Children’s Camp Program: July 1 – July 22, Monday through Friday.
Staff Wrap-up: July 25.


Times: Staff hours 8am-4pm; Children’s hours 9am-3pm


Salary: Commensurate with training and experience.
