Parent quotes from summer 2025:
“The enthusiasm and positivity of the staff, as well as their understanding of and care for
the kids is really unique.”

This camp is absolutely incredible. It has provided an opportunity for a great kid who
just doesn’t function well in other camps to have a camp experience, make friends, and
have fun. Most importantly, though, it has helped him learn how to function
appropriately in groups, something that he does not come as naturally to him as to most
other kids.

Camp Attaway is a respite for parents and a retreat for the camper. What a relief for my
camper to be in a space where she doesn’t feel like the non-compliant villain. She can be
her true self without disapproving looks and comments. Likewise, a weight of anxiety
was lifted from receiving constant behavior and discipline reports. I got a break from the
countless, “What do we do with [my child]?” conversations. With Camp Attaway we only
saw smiles and solutions. Thanks for everything!”
