An Award-Winning Program
In our 29-year history, Camp Attaway has been the recipient of numerous awards for our therapeutic summer camp and family support programs. Our most recent awards include:

Additionally, Camp Attaway was honored by the Association of Community Services as having the 2013 Employee Team of the Year in conjunction with its prestigious Audrey Robbins Humanitarian Awards Program.
Parent Surveys
Each season once camp is complete, Dr. Noah Weintraub meets with parents one-on-one to review their child’s progress during camp, and conducts a post-camp survey.
In this comprehensive survey, parents are asked to rate the camp in several areas, including:
- The Overall Camp Program
- Our Staff
- Parent Involvement
- Parent Support Group
- Progress and Growth of the Child During Camp
Camp Attaway uses it throughout the year for continual improvement. In 2024, parents rated the progress of their child’s self-determination skills, including confidence, identity, and self-esteem at 92% Excellent/Good. They also rated the progress of their child’s positivity post-camp at 96% Excellent/Good.
